Meet Esther

Hi, I’m Esther. At 38 years old, I’m a proud Mum of three and have lived in Buxton all my life. I have over 16 years of experience working in a nursing home.

Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of caring for individuals with a wide range of needs, helping me understand  elderly vulnerability, dementia patterns, and mobility challenges.

Looking after people has always come naturally to me. I enjoy getting to know people, listening, having a laugh, and helping others feel relaxed and comfortable. I know that sometimes the little things— good conversation, a friendly face, and someone who genuinely cares—can make all the difference.

I've always had a passion for caring for others, which is why I started my companionship service. Growing older can sometimes make everyday tasks more difficult, and I believe everyone deserves a helping hand and someone they can look forward to seeing, not everyone has close friends or family members so I am here to fill that.

My visits are not only about companionship as I also understand that little jobs around the house can become a struggle, so I'm happy to help with light household tasks such as hoovering, ironing, changing bed linen, light meal preparation, washing up, or other everyday jobs that help you stay comfortable and independent in your own home.
